Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, in cooperation with the Sharjah Initiatives Implementation Authority “Mubadara”, continues work on the Al Dhaid Bridge and Lake Project in Al Dhaid City as part of ongoing development initiatives aimed at enhancing infrastructure, improving the urban landscape, and developing key facilities in the area.

As announced during the “Direct Line” program, the bridge is scheduled to open on 30 October 2026. Extending 320 metres, the bridge features four elevators, along with balconies and viewing areas overlooking the lake, enhancing the project’s aesthetic appeal and providing visitors with a distinctive experience.

The project also includes Al Dhaid Lake, located beneath the bridge, with a storage capacity of 400 million gallons of water. The lake is scheduled to open at a later date.

The project forms part of ongoing efforts to develop Al Dhaid through integrated infrastructure projects that combine functionality with aesthetic design, keeping pace with the area’s urban development and contributing to an enhanced quality of life.
