The Sharjah Roads and Transportation Authority has completed a project to develop and raise the efficiency of the road located between Al Qarayen Districts 1 and 2, with a total length of 2 km, as part of the Authority’s development projects at the emirate level.

The works involved implementing a road duplication, transforming it into two lanes in each direction. Additionally, a central island with a width of 4.6 meters was created, designed for green areas, and road shoulders. The project also included the construction of two U - turns and the completion of road lighting works.

Infrastructure development projects are part of the authority's efforts to keep pace with the needs of population growth and urban development in the Emirate of Sharjah, contributing to improving traffic flow on the roads.
