Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority continues to advance construction works on the Al Taawun Tunnel Project at an accelerated pace as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the road network and enhance the efficiency of key traffic corridors across the Emirate.

The project aims to improve traffic flow, reduce travel times, and enhance mobility along one of the key corridors connecting the Emirates of Sharjah and Dubai, providing road users with a smoother and more efficient travel experience.

The project forms part of the Authority’s strategic infrastructure development initiatives designed to accommodate increasing traffic demand, enhance road network efficiency, and contribute to improving quality of life across the Emirate of Sharjah.
