Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has announced the temporary closure of Ali bin Abi Talib Street, in the direction extending from Hayawa Roundabout to Al Majlis Al Adabi Roundabout in Al Bardi (4) area, as part of road maintenance and efficiency improvement works aimed at developing infrastructure and enhancing traffic flow.

The closure will be in effect from Monday, 24 August 2026, until Saturday, 29 August 2026, in accordance with the approved alternative routes illustrated in the attached traffic plan.

This measure forms part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to improve road network efficiency and enhance traffic safety through necessary maintenance and development works, contributing to safer and more efficient infrastructure for road users.

The Authority urges motorists to adhere to the approved traffic diversions and directional signage, use the designated alternative routes, and follow road safety instructions to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow throughout the implementation period.
