H.E. Eng. Yousif Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, stated during an intervention on the “Direct Line” program that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a project to construct a bridge connecting Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road with Maliha Road, at a total cost of AED 140 million.

The project forms part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to develop the road network and enhance traffic flow, contributing to improved mobility efficiency, enhanced road safety, and support for urban and economic development across the Emirate of Sharjah.

The approval of the project reflects Sharjah’s commitment to implementing high-quality infrastructure projects that keep pace with ongoing growth and provide sustainable traffic solutions that enhance quality of life and meet the needs of all road users.
