The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has completed traffic improvements on Al Taawun Street, aimed at enhancing traffic flow and facilitating vehicle movement. The improvements include the addition of a fourth traffic lane extending 950 meters, connecting it to the exit leading to Al Taawun Roundabout, as well as the provision of a two-lane U-turn for vehicles coming from Al Nahda Bridge. Additionally, new traffic signals have been installed for pedestrian crossings. These upgrades reflect the Authority’s ongoing commitment to enhancing Sharjah’s infrastructure, with a focus on improving traffic safety.
