Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has announced a temporary full road closure in the direction extending from Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan Bu Alian Square to Saeed bin Obaid Al Jarwan Square, from the Al Jazzat area side, as part of ongoing road maintenance and infrastructure development works aimed at enhancing road network efficiency and improving traffic flow.

The closure will be in effect for three days, from Wednesday, 19 August 2026, until Friday, 21 August 2026, in accordance with the approved alternative routes illustrated in the attached traffic plan.

This measure forms part of the Authority’s ongoing road maintenance and development works aimed at improving road efficiency and enhancing traffic safety, contributing to safer and more efficient infrastructure for road users.

The Authority urges motorists to adhere to the approved traffic diversions and directional signage, use the designated alternative routes, and follow road safety instructions to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow throughout the implementation period.
