Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has announced a temporary partial closure of the dual carriageway adjacent to Al Hazana area, in the direction extending from Saeed bin Obaid Al Jarwan Square to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan Bu Alian Square, as part of ongoing road maintenance and infrastructure development works aimed at enhancing road network efficiency and improving traffic flow.

The closure will be in effect for six days, from Sunday, 23 August 2026, until Friday, 28 August 2026, in accordance with the approved alternative routes illustrated in the attached traffic plan.

This measure forms part of the Authority’s ongoing road maintenance and development works aimed at improving road efficiency and enhancing traffic safety, contributing to safer and more efficient infrastructure for road users.

The Authority urges motorists to adhere to the approved traffic diversions and directional signage, use the designated alternative routes, and follow road safety instructions to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow throughout the implementation period.
