Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has launched the Real-Time Bus Arrival Information Display Project as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the public transport system and adopt smart and sustainable mobility solutions. The project provides passengers with accurate and up-to-date information on bus arrival times, enabling them to plan their journeys with greater ease and efficiency.

Powered by solar energy, the displays provide real-time bus arrival information in minutes, along with service alerts and updates, allowing passengers to better plan their journeys and make more flexible mobility choices.

The displays will be installed at air-conditioned and upgraded bus stops, as well as bus stations, ensuring convenient access to real-time information and enhancing the overall public transport experience.

The project forms part of the Authority’s strategy to advance digital transformation and integrate modern technologies and sustainable solutions across the transport sector, contributing to greater service efficiency and providing a more convenient, reliable, and sustainable mobility experience while enhancing quality of life across the Emirate of Sharjah.
