As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the road network and enhance infrastructure efficiency across the Emirate, Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has implemented a main road paving project in Al Dhaid New Industrial Area in Al Dhaid City, in line with its plans to support urban and economic development in the region.

The project spans an area exceeding 78,000 square meters and extends for approximately 10 kilometers. The works included the construction of single carriageways with one lane in each direction, with a width of 7.30 meters, along with gravel shoulders of 2.5 meters. The project also included the installation of lighting pole foundations and the development of dual carriageways at intersections, contributing to improved traffic flow and enhanced road safety.
