The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced its comprehensive operational plan for Eid Al-Fitr, aimed at ensuring smooth and seamless mobility across public transportation services. As part of the plan, 7,000 intercity bus trips will be operated during the Eid holiday. Bus intervals will be reduced to just 5 minutes during peak hours, compared to the regular 45-minute intervals, to enhance passenger comfort and minimize congestion at stations. Moreover, 12 public transport routes have been allocated, delivering 1,144 daily trips across 546 stops, using a fleet of 104 buses. In addition, Route 203 will be operated to provide daily trips to Muscat, offering passengers a convenient and safe travel option. To further expand travel options, 8 daily marine trips will run between Sharjah and Dubai throughout the Eid holiday, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable travel experience for passengers.
