Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority held its Annual Drivers Recognition Ceremony 2026, honouring 180 outstanding drivers and 10 Call Centre employees in recognition of their dedication and valuable contributions to supporting the transport system and enhancing the quality of services provided to customers.

The recognition of outstanding drivers highlights their vital role within the transport system and their commitment to safety, discipline, and service quality. As frontline representatives of the Authority’s services, drivers play a key role in providing safe and reliable mobility experiences for all segments of the community.

The ceremony also honoured several strategic partners for their continued support of the Authority’s programmes and initiatives in the areas of safety and operational quality, as well as franchise companies operating in the taxi sector for their contributions to enhancing operational efficiency and improving transport services.
