Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has announced the implementation of a temporary traffic diversion at the intersection of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street and Maliha Street as part of ongoing intersection development and improvement works aimed at enhancing traffic flow and improving the efficiency of the Emirate’s road network.

The traffic diversion will be in effect from Sunday, 16 August 2026, until Sunday, 6 December 2026, in accordance with the approved alternative routes illustrated in the attached traffic plan.

The diversion forms part of development works aimed at improving the efficiency of the intersection and facilitating vehicle movement along the connecting road corridors, contributing to enhanced road safety and a smoother mobility experience for road users.

The Authority urges motorists to adhere to the approved traffic diversions and directional signage, use the designated alternative routes, and follow road safety instructions to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow throughout the implementation period.
