The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has implemented traffic improvements on Sheikh Zayed Road in the emirate, by adding a new lane on the road between Sheikh Humaid bin Saqr Al Qasimi intersection, adjacent to the Flying Saucer building, towards Kuwait Square, parallel to the Ramla and Fayhaa areas. This comes as part of a package of traffic improvement projects that the authority is implementing at the emirate level, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the intensive follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, to develop road networks in accordance with the highest international standards for traffic safety to achieve sustainable development.
Eng.
