A delegation from the Sharjah Roads and Transportation Authority visited the People's Republic of China to inspect prototype buses in preparation for receiving 38 out of 55 buses, which will be added to the emirate's transport fleet within three months. The visit included inspecting the prototypes and learning about the latest technologies in the manufacture of electric and environmentally friendly buses. This effort is part of the Authority's initiative to enhance the bus fleet with the latest sustainable technologies to improve public transport services in the emirate and emphasize the importance of relying on clean energy in line with government strategies supporting the UAE's Net Zero 2050 initiative.
