H.E. Eng. Yousif Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, announced during an intervention on the “Direct Line” program that, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, two pedestrian bridges will be constructed on Al Haray Road in Khorfakkan.

He explained that the project forms part of the Authority’s efforts to enhance pedestrian safety and improve road infrastructure efficiency. The two bridges will facilitate safe crossing movements and connect the residential area with the commercial area located on the opposite side of the road.

The project is expected to improve traffic flow, reduce unsafe crossing practices, and enhance road safety standards, contributing positively to quality of life and serving both residents and visitors in the area.
