Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority discussed joint cooperation with the Municipalities and
Agriculture Affairs Department and Municipal Councils of Al Dhaid and Al Madam
His Excellency Eng. Youssef Saleh Al Suwaiji, Chairman of Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority
and member of Executive Council of the Emirate, received His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Musabah Al
Tunaiji, Chairman of Department of Municipalities, Agriculture and Livestock Affairs in the
Emirate of Sharjah, as well as the delegation of Municipal Council of Al Dhaid City headed by
Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Bin Howiden, and the delegation of Municipal Council of Al Madam Area
headed by Sultan Muhammad Mu'adhd bin Howaiden.
This visit is part of the existing cooperation and mutual coordination between the Authority and
all government institutions in Sharjah.
The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of Roads and Transport Authority in Al-Azra
area, was attended by Muhammad Ali Al-Zaabi, Director of Legal Affairs Section at the Authority,
as well as number of members of both municipal councils and representatives of the Authority
from some different sections.
At beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Eng. Youssef Al-Suwaiji welcomed the attendees,
stressing that such visits have an important role in exchanging visions and coordinating efforts
in line with the public interest and for purpose of achieving common objectives.
The attendees discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation with the various institutions in the
Emirate, and discussed also some related issues. The attendees also stressed the importance of
overcoming all difficulties and obstacles that may prevent execution of service projects.
His Excellency the Chairman of the Authority stressed that the development projects, that have
been executed in the field of roads recently in many cities and areas of the Emirate, have
completely eliminated the difficulties that the residents and road users had encountered,
explaining that the relevant agencies of the Authority are closely and daily monitoring all
observations, complaints and inquiries received to them for taking the necessary measures
regarding the same in light of joint coordination with the relevant authorities.
