Operating transport lines between cities during Eid Al Fitr

The Sharjah Roads and Transportation Authority announces a comprehensive plan for passenger transport during the Eid al-Fitr holiday from April 9 to 12, with an increase in the number of daily trips to 6330 trips on all intercity transport lines across 789 buses.

Additionally, the time interval between buses operating daily and across 15 main lines will be reduced to 5 minutes during peak hours, noting that intercity passenger transport operations will start at the Jubail Station for all lines from 3:45 AM until 12:30 AM to ensure a safe and comfortable experience during the Eid holiday.

The Authority has designated line number 203 for trips between the Emirate of Sharjah and the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, Muscat, through two daily trips, the first at 6:30 AM, and the second at 4:00 PM, stating that the fare for a single trip is estimated at 10 Omani Riyals, equivalent to 100 UAE Dirhams for one way, and 19 Omani Riyals, equivalent to 190 UAE Dirhams for the return.

Tickets can also be booked electronically through the Oman Transport Platform, or through the ticket sales outlet at the Jubail Bus Station.
