As part of the Sharjah Roads and Transportation Authority's commitment to intensifying efforts to support the national pathway of the 2050 Climate Neutrality Strategic Initiative, the Authority has announced the launch of the first phase of environmentally friendly electric bus services. This phase includes the inauguration of three intercity routes between the emirates of Dubai, Ajman, and the Hamriyah area, enhancing public transport services and contributing to the Authority's goals of gradually transitioning to green public transport. This is in line with environmental sustainability strategies, and the first phase will see the operation of 10 electric buses as part of this shift towards sustainable transport.
